Swarovski is an Austrian manufacturer of cut crystal glass. Swarovski employs more than 25,000 people in 40 countries, either on its own or through its subsidiaries.

The history of Swarovski began in 1862 in Jiřetín pod Bukovou, near Jablonec nad Nisou. This was the birthplace of Daniel Swarovski, who trained as an artistic passer at Gebrüder Feix in Albrecht. Representatives of the company sent the young Daniel Swarovski to Vienna, where several masters were involved in the production of costume jewellery. Swarovski took from them the experience and technical knowledge for jewellery making. At a technical exhibition in Vienna, Swarovski met František Křižík, who was installing electric lighting. This was the inspiration for Daniel Swarovski to develop a machine for grinding rhinestones powered by electricity.
In 1892, Swarovski patented his machine and started his own production.
It is an exaggeration to say that the Czech Republic was for Daniel the main pillar for the creation of the entire Swarovski empire.

Swarovski produces a wide range of crystal components SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS (Swarovski components), which serve many jewellery and clothing designers. The crystals are also used to decorate various fashion accessories, as well as mobile phones, laptops, glassware (cups, glasses), brand symbols (e.g. car manufacturers such as Mercedes, BMW, VW, Audi and others). Most of the manufacturers of this original design on the Czech market operate on the principle of custom production realized by hand.

A recent newcomer among Swarovski products is also watches. These watches use movements of the highest Swiss quality and therefore bear the "Swiss made" label.

Swarovski watches are a celebration of elegance, timelessness, full of sparkle and luxury with a dose of refined style.
