Wenger is a Swiss company based in Delémont that manufactures watches and travel gear. Until 2005 it was one of two companies producing so-called "Swiss Army knives", then it was acquired by rival company Victorinox, which in 2013 transferred the production of Wenger knives under the Victorinox brand.

Wenger was preceded by the founding of Paul Boechat & Cie in 1893 in Courtételle, Switzerland. This company was created due to the Swiss army's demand for a multifunctional tool to serve its soldiers. After five years in business, Theodor Wenger, a priest who had returned from the USA with his wife shortly before and had learned the trade from his father-in-law, a cloth merchant, was hired as director. Wenger's knives are still referred to today as the "Genuine Swiss Army knife". In 1908, the Army decided to allocate exactly half of the entire contract for closing knives to each company, both Wenger and Victorinox.

In 1988, Wenger entered the market with another typically Swiss commodity, watches, based on demand. The watches soon won fans around the world for their quality and reliability. Wenger watches are fitted with durable glass with added sapphire and are equipped with only Swiss-made movements, allowing them to use the trademark Swiss made. It is also worth noting that the watch is made from the same steel as the Swiss made knives. The steel is harder, which gives the watch greater durability and allows it to maintain its original appearance for longer.

Wenger watches are mostly sporty in style, but the manufacturer does not forget about the fans of classic and simplicity in its collections, as well as fashion enthusiasts.
