In that year, the Swiss Hasler family joined forces with Friedrich-Wilhelm Bohle, a German entrepreneur who had been a successful watch distributor since the 1960s.

From the outset, it was a meeting of like minds: both Friedrich-Wilhelm Bohle and his Swiss business partners were mechanical watch enthusiasts. By the end of the twentieth century, the watch market had long been dominated by quartz movements, so it was high time for a renaissance of mechanical watches. The result of their fruitful collaboration was a small and select collection of mechanical watches, which were released under a new brand name: DAVOSA.
The collection was an immediate success, appreciated by customers, retailers and the trade press. Subsequent collections then wrote their own chapter in the brand's success story.

Today, the DAVOSA brand offers a comprehensive range of elegant and sporty watches.
