The watch has a 38 mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 12.5 mm, a nylon strap with a width of 20 mm, an automatic Swiss movement Soprod P024 and a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment. The A-5 UDT was designed to meet an operational need that has existed since humans could dive: reliable underwater timekeeping. Based on the original USN BUSHIPS design, this dive watch exudes robustness with its large crown and solid case. During World War II, this system was the only way underwater demolition teams could safely ensure their watches were waterproof during longer diving missions. More than a tribute, we have truly brought this icon to life. This combination of A-5 straps is probably the most durable. NATO straps were originally designed for special forces. Thanks to the classic green OG-107 color with sandblasted loops & buckle, you will be ready for any operation under and above water.
